Home / Product Details
Fusion Bond Epoxy (FBE) Coating is a thermoset, powder-based protective coating applied to pre-heated steel surfaces, where the epoxy powder melts, flows, and chemically bonds (fuses) to the substrate. This process creates a uniform, seamless, and highly adherent coating that offers excellent protection against corrosion, abrasion, chemicals, and moisture ingress.
FBE coating is widely used for Mild Steel (MS) and Stainless Steel (SS) pipes, fittings, valves, tanks, and structural components, especially in oil & gas, water pipelines, chemical plants, power plants, and infrastructure projects. It is suitable for both internal and external corrosion protection.
Excellent Corrosion Protection
Forms a dense, impermeable barrier that protects steel from rust, moisture, soil, and aggressive environments.
Strong Adhesion to Steel
Fusion bonding ensures superior adhesion compared to conventional liquid coatings, reducing risk of peeling or delamination.
Uniform & Seamless Coating
Powder application provides consistent thickness with no pinholes, laps, or runs.
High Mechanical Strength
Resistant to abrasion, impact, and handling damage during transportation and installation.
Chemical & Moisture Resistance
Performs well against water, salts, mild acids, alkalis, and industrial chemicals.
Wide Temperature Performance
Suitable for service in a broad temperature range and compatible with cathodic protection systems.
Environmentally Friendly
Solvent-free coating with low VOC emissions.
Long Service Life
Significantly reduces maintenance and extends asset life cycle.
