PVDF (Polyvinylidene Fluoride) Coating is a high-performance fluoropolymer coating known for its excellent chemical resistance, mechanical strength, and purity. PVDF forms a dense, smooth, and non-porous protective layer on metal substrates such as M.S. / S.S., providing long-term protection against corrosion, chemicals, UV exposure, and environmental degradation.
PVDF coatings are widely used on pipes, tanks, valves, fittings, agitators, scrubbers, ducts, heat-exchanger parts, and structural components in chemical processing, water treatment, power plants, pharmaceuticals, and outdoor industrial installations. Its balance of chemical resistance and toughness makes PVDF an ideal choice where abrasion resistance and UV stability are required alongside corrosion protection.
Excellent Chemical Resistance
Resistant to a wide range of acids, alkalis, solvents, and salts, suitable for aggressive chemical services.
High Mechanical Strength & Abrasion Resistance
Tougher than many fluoropolymers; resists wear, impact, and handling damage.
UV & Weather Resistance
Outstanding resistance to sunlight, weathering, and atmospheric exposure, making it ideal for outdoor applications.
Non-Porous, Smooth Surface
Prevents moisture ingress, fouling, and scaling; easy to clean and maintain.
Good Temperature Performance
Suitable for continuous service typically up to 140–150°C.
Strong Adhesion & Uniform Finish
Fusion-bonded or thermally cured coating ensures consistent thickness and long service life.
Low Maintenance & Long Lifecycle
Reduces corrosion-related failures and maintenance costs.
